Running: Day 2

Went for another run yesterday. It was a little more difficult for me this time as I have not been getting as much sleep these days since little Mason came along on April 26th. Still learning all the function of the heart rate monitor. Performed the exercises to obtain a more accurate maximum heart rate calculation. The results showed my max heart rate as 170 rather than 184 which is a result of the generic calculation of 220 – age. Here are my stats for this run:

Min. heart rate: 102

Max heart rate: 171

Avg. heart rate: 147

In zone: 16 minutes, 2 seconds

Calories burned: 538

    as you get into better shape your max heartrate should go up..at least it seems like mine did.
